Where does the money go, and when do I get paid?
Card payments go straight into your own Stripe account, not through Pinli. Stripe pays them out to your bank on your Stripe payout schedule.

When a captain or sponsor pays by card, the charge is made on your Stripe account. The money lands in your Stripe balance. Pinli never holds it and takes no cut of it.

How does a payment reach me?
- A captain or sponsor pays from their team or sponsor page, or right after signing up.
- Stripe charges the card on your account and takes its card fee, about 2.9% + 30¢.
- Pinli marks the players or the sponsor paid as soon as Stripe confirms the charge.
- Stripe pays your balance out to the bank account you gave it, on your Stripe payout schedule.
Payouts are between you and Stripe. To see when money will arrive, or to change the schedule, sign in to your Stripe dashboard.
Are my payouts turned on?
Go to Settings → Payments. Under Stripe Connect you’ll see Connected and Payouts enabled. If it says Payouts pending, Stripe still needs something from you, usually bank details. Finish it in Stripe.
The Payments page shows the same status in one line, like “Stripe connected · payouts on”.
See what you’ve collected
The Payments page shows Collected, Still owed and Refunded at the top. Below that, Every payment lists each card payment, cash or check you marked paid, and refund, newest first. Filter by Teams, Sponsors or Refunds, or click Export CSV for a spreadsheet.
Common questions
Does Pinli take a percentage of my entry fees? No. Pinli charges one flat fee to activate the tournament. Stripe’s card fee is the only cost per payment, and you choose who pays it in Settings → Payments.
Who pays the card fee? You decide, separately for teams and sponsors. With Participant pays, the fee is added at checkout and you get the full price. With I’ll absorb the fee, payers see the plain price and the fee comes out of what you receive.
Why can’t teams pay by card during my free trial? Online payments turn on when you activate the tournament. You can connect Stripe before then so it’s ready.
Does cash or check go through Stripe? No. You collect it yourself and mark the team or sponsor paid in Pinli, so your totals stay right.
