How do I check in on tournament day?
If the organizer allows it, open your team page and tap Check our team in, then pick who's here. Otherwise, check in at the organizer's desk when you arrive.
Checking in tells the organizer your team is here. You can often do it from your phone before you reach the desk.
Before you start: you need the link to your team page. Captains have it in their registration email, and teammates can get it from their captain. The captain’s link and the teammate’s link both work for check-in.
Check in from your phone
- Open your team page. Under Tournament details, Check-in shows when phone check-in opens, for example “Opens the day before”.
- Once it’s open, the page shows Checking in? with how many players are checked in. Tap Check our team in.
- Under Who’s here?, untick anyone who hasn’t arrived yet.
- Tap Check in (for example, Check in 3 players) to confirm.
Anyone on the team can check the group in, so whoever gets there first can do it. When everyone is checked in, the button goes away.
Check in at the desk
If you don’t see Check our team in, check in at the organizer’s desk when you arrive. That’s also where you can pay if you still owe.
Common questions
Why don’t I see the check-in button? Either the organizer checks everyone in at the desk, check-in hasn’t opened yet, or everyone on your team is already checked in.
Some of my teammates aren’t in the list. This tournament only lets paid players check in from their phone. Pay on your team page first, or check in at the desk and pay there.
I checked in someone who isn’t here yet. Can I undo it? Not from your phone. Let the organizer know and they’ll fix it.
Do I get the scorecard when we check in? The captain may get an email confirming the team is checked in, with the scorecard link. To keep score, see How do I enter my team’s scores?
