What does the free trial include?
Everything you need to set up your tournament, plus real sign-ups for up to 5 teams and 2 sponsors. Tournament day, online payments and messages to your field unlock when you activate.

Every new tournament starts as a free trial. You can build the whole thing and take real sign-ups before you pay anything. You pay once, when you’re ready for your full field.
What you can do on a trial
- Set everything up: settings, course, sponsor levels and your budget.
- Take real sign-ups: open registration for up to 5 teams and 2 sponsors. They get real confirmation emails.
- Publish your website as a 30-day demo, with a “Demo site” banner.
- Invite organizers to help you run it.
- Connect Stripe, so payments are ready the day you activate.
- Draft messages and send a test to yourself.
- See what captains see: the team page and scorecard your players get, with sample data.
The 5 teams include teams you add yourself, reserve teams, and teams that come with a sponsorship. You can also upload up to 5 images.

If you try one of these during the trial, Pinli shows an Activate to continue prompt. Everything you’ve built carries over when you activate.
What happens when the trial fills up?
Once 5 teams have signed up, new registrants see a message that the tournament hasn’t been activated yet and to contact the organizer. Activate to open the rest of your field.
Common questions
Does the trial expire? The tournament doesn’t. Your demo website does: it runs for 30 days from the first time you publish it, and each tournament gets one demo. Activate and it becomes your site for good.
How many trial tournaments can I have? As many as you like, but only 3 that you own can be open for registration at the same time. To open a fourth, activate one of the others first.
Can teams pay during the trial? Not online. Online payments turn on when you activate. If a team pays you another way, you can still mark them paid.
